The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my mountain, where I seek refuge

The earth, from which food comes, is transformed below as by fire; lapis lazuli comes from its rocks, and its dust contains nuggets of gold.

Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and the man became a living being.

The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.

Here is the sea, vast and wide, teeming with creatures beyond number -- living things both large and small.
