You shall not commit adultery. What does this mean? We should fear and love God that we lead a pure and decent life in words and actions, and that husband and wife love and honor each other.

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find the baby wrapped in cloth and lying in a manger.

When the Angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me and I ate.” So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all the livestock and the wild animals!… And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
