for all ha ve sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his graces as a gift.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
