Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2 verse thirty-eight

Nor is there salvation in any other, For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4 verse twelve

But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. Acts 5 verse twenty-nine

but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” Acts 6 verse four

Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Acts 8 verse four

And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Acts 22 verse sixteen

“Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him." Acts 10 verses thirty-four and thirty-five

Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. Acts 12 verse five
