All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God me be thoroughly equipped for every good work

When I came to you, brothers, I did nit come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
