1. From curse to blessings (MSG)
Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You are the Son of God and the only way to God; that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I renounce all my sins and I turn to You, Lord Jesus, for mercy and for forgiveness, and I believe You do forgive me. From now on I want to live for You, I want to hear Your voice and do what You tell me. In order to receive Your blessing, Lord, and to be released from any curse over my life, I confess any known sins committed by me, or by my ancestors, or others related to me . . . (Add any personal details that are appropriate.) Lord, I thank You that I believe You have forgiven everything that I have confessed, and now I want to say I also forgive all other persons, whoever has harmed me or wronged me. I forgive them all now as I would have God forgive me. In particular, I forgive . . . (Add any names that are appropriate.) Furthermore, Lord, I renounce any contact by myself, or anyone related to me, with Satan, or with occult power in any form, or any kind of secret society. Also, I commit myself to remove from my house any kind of occult objects that honor Satan and dishonor Jesus Christ. With Your help, Lord, I will remove them all. And now, Lord Jesus, I thank You further, that on the cross You were made a curse that I might be redeemed from the curse and might receive the blessing. Because of what You did for me on the cross, I now release myself from every curse, every evil influence, and every dark shadow over me or my family, from any source whatever. I release myself now, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
2. Pull down strongholds (MSG)
Lord, I recognize that by virtue of my relationship with You, I have entered into active warfare with the kingdom of Satan. My first step is to declare my absolute allegiance to You, Lord Jesus—the Captain of the Lord’s host, and my Lord and Savior. I commit myself to You and Your leadership unreservedly, and I place my life fully in Your hands. As Your Word explains, I equip myself now with the full armor of God so that I can stand victorious in this battle. I also pull down, in the name of Jesus, any stronghold or strong man in my life that hinders me. Lord Jesus, help me in this battle, so that I can follow You without obstruction. Next, Lord, I remove any high place in my life that may be hindering me—any allegiance to an old pattern or religious practice that may be offensive to You. I lay it down now, Lord, and I place it at Your feet. I will join with my fellow believers in coming together into that one place that God the Father has authorized for worship—into the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. Now, Lord, all that I am, and all that I have, I commit fully to You. I offer myself to You as one who will engage in spiritual warfare for the sake of Your kingdom, one who will pull down strongholds in Your name—not only individual strongholds but also national ones. And I will be one who removes the high places in my own life and in the realm of the church. Please use me, for the sake of Your kingdom and Your eternal purposes. Amen!
3. The blood of Christ Jesus (MSG)
Through the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of Satan. Through the blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven. The blood of Jesus cleanses me from all sins. Through the blood of Jesus, I am justified, made righteous, just-as-if-I'd never sinned. Through the blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, made holy, set apart to God. I am no longer in Satan's territory.
4. Guidance, Protection, Preservation - Psalm 121:7-8 Job 28:7-8,21 (MSG)
The Lord shall preserve me from all evil; He shall preserve my soul. The Lord shall preserve my going out and my coming in From this time forth, and even for evermore. There is a path which no fowl knoweth, which the vulture’s eye hath not seen: The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.... Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.
5. Guidance, Protection, Preservation - psalm 127:1 (MSG)
Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain
6. Guidance, Protection, Preservation - Psalm 27:1-6 (MSG)
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army should encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war should rise against me, In this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
7. Guidance, Protection, Preservation - Exodus 23:20-27, NIV (MSG)
See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since My Name is in him. If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you. My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out. Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces. Worship the Lord your God, and His blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and no one will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span. I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.
8. Guidance, Protection, Preservation -Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalm 118:17 (MSG)
We trust in the Lord with all our heart, And do not lean on our own understanding; In all our ways we acknowledge Him, And He directs our paths. I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord.
9. Nothing but the blood (MSG)
We overcome Satan when we testify personally to what the Word of God says the Blood of Jesus does for us: Through the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil. Through the blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven. Through the blood of Jesus, I am continually being cleansed from all sin. Through the blood of Jesus, I am justified, made righteous, just-as-if-I'd never sinned. Through the blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, made holy, set apart to God. Through the blood of Jesus, I have boldness to enter into the presence of God. The blood of Jesus cries out continually to God in heaven on my behalf.
10. Let the Redeemed Say So (MSG)
My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified by the Blood of Jesus. My members, the parts of my body, are instruments of righteousness, yielded to God for His service and for His glory. The devil has no place in me, no power over me, no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the Blood of Jesus. I overcome Satan by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony, and I do not love my life to the death. My body is for the Lord and the Lord is for my body. Amen.
11. Exchange Made at the Cross (MSG)
Exchange Made at the Cross Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven. Jesus was wounded that we might be healed. Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might be made righteous with His righteousness. Jesus died our death that we might receive His life. Jesus was made a curse that we might enter into the blessing. Jesus endured our poverty that we might share His abundance. Jesus bore our shame that we might share His glory. Jesus endured our rejection that we might have His acceptance with the Father. Jesus was cut off by death that we might be joined to God eternally. Our old man was put to death in Him that the new man might come to life in us. Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven.
12. Serving God (MSG)
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God. (Two Corinthians two fourteen, NIV) God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us. Ephesians three twenty God is able to make all grace abound toward us; that we, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. (two Corinthians nine: eight, KJV ) Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. (Matthew eighteen: nineteen) The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Therefore we pray the Lord of the harvest, that He will thrust forth laborers into His harvest Matthew nine: thirty seven, KJV* And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew twenty-four:fourteen) For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, Serving God That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah fifty five: ten)
13. Perfect redemption (MSG)
Now unto Him who is able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. (Jude twenty-four, KJV) Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm one hundred and three, KJV) This is our prayer: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. (Ephesians one: seventeen) We are confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in us will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians one: six) There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.... For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans eight: oneFor by one sacrifice He has perfected forever us who are being sanctified. (Hebrews ten: fourteen) Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, I have passed out from under the curse and entered into the blessing of Abraham, whom God blessed in all things. Based on (Galatians three: thirteen; Genesis twenty: one)
14. Righteousness and holiness (MSG)
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. But we have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels in festal array, to the church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. (Hebrews twelve) And this we pray, that our love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that we may approve the things that are excellent, that we may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. (Philippians one: nine) Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless. And I shall be innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. (Psalm nineteen) This is our prayer: that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that we may have a walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians one) My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. (Proverbs two) But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. (John four) Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify us completely; and may our whole spirit soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls us is faithful, who also will do it. (One Thessalonian five) Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. (Psalm one)
