In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

There is none that understandeth. There is none that seeketh after God.

They are all gone out of the way. They are together become unprofitable. There is none that forth good, no, not one.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
