Bondage is anything that hinders us from the fullness of who God has called us to be. A Christian is held captive by anything that hinders the abundant and effective Spirit-filled life God planned for her.

A stronghold is a mental preoccupation with something other than God. When a thought process begins to exalt itself over the truth and knowledge of God. What gets in the way of you bearing much fruit - that is oppression.

To know God and believe Him. To glorify God. To find satisfaction in God. To experience God's peace. To enjoy God's presence.

Unbelief, which hinders us from knowing God. Pride, which prevents us from glorifying God. Idolatry, which keeps us from being satisfied with God. Prayerlessness, which blocks our experience of God's peace. Legalism, which stops our enjoyment of God's presence.
