When they ate of the fruit of that tree, they no longer can see the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. And Adam and Eve were so shameful, and they hide.

Just like little children has fear, for they do not yet have the knowledge of their parents love for them, We have to identify the fear in our life, and pray against it. Ask God when does that fear, or that lie, comes into my life. Ask God for the truth, maybe a verse, to encourage us. We only have to believe the word of God, then the fear will flee from us.

Find a journal, and write down your fear, one by one. And ask God, when and how does this fear came into my life. Then ask God, or your spiritual mentor, to give you a bible verse, a truth, to defeat this lie and fear in your life. For example, I was afraid of failure, fear of lacking. God showed me that when I as about six grade, I failed in every test to get into any of the private junior high in Taipei. Even though later on in my life, I was quite successful academically, but deep in my heart, I always want to perform to prove that I am not inferior or stupid. That was a deep root of shame and failure. Solution, God gave me 1 Corinthian 1:4-5 to proclaim over myself, that by the grace of God in Jesus Christ, I am in every way enriched in speech and knowledge. No more lacking, no more fear! I am free!
9. 1 Cor 1:4-5 (ESV)
I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge
